Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi has said that his party (AAP) will not form any sort of alliance with the Congress in order to contest the Lok Sabha elections in 2019. Previously, CM Kejriwal made extensive efforts to work hand in hand with the Congress in Delhi, but eventually realised that ‘the deal is not happening.’ He further added that the only reason AAP was an alliance with the Congress was to save the country. CM Kejriwal further stated that ‘Had AAP and Congress come together for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would have been easily wiped off in Delhi in 2019. But it seems that the alliance between AAP and Congress is not happening,’CM Kejriwal also mentioned that it is out of compulsion and helplessness that he had to share the stage with the congress party and other opposition parties in order to fight Prime Minister Modi and the BJP. According to CM Kejriwal, PM Narendra Modi and President of BJP Mr Amit Shah are ‘dangerous for the nation. However, CM Kejriwal still believes that his party, the Aam Aadmi Party will give a tough fight to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the coming general elections. CM Kejriwal fails to understand what congress wants. Following this, he further stated that ‘The Congress is weakening the AAP in Delhi and the BSPSP alliance in Uttar Pradesh. Same is happening with Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal.’
