Today morning, Pakistani F-16 jets violated the line of control. Officials report that the Indian Air Force launched counter-attacks immediately. The Indian jets hooked the Pakistani planes and made sure that they return back. However, in the process, the Indian Air Force took down one of the F-16 jets.
According to sources, the F-16 jet that went down after Indian retaliation. The pilot was seen ejecting out of the plane, but there is no information about the pilot’s condition yet. However, it is now confirmed that the Pakistani jets dropped on bombs on Indian Soil while retreating Indian air space. As of now, there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. A Tweet by ANI showed pictures of craters created due to Pakistani bombs in Rajouri.
A number of sources have confirmed that the Pakistani jets crossed the Line of Control and infiltrated the Nowshera sector, Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to a report by the Press Trust of India, an unnamed official stated ‘The jets entered into Indian air space over Nowshera sector this morning.’ The PTI further reported that these Pakistani jets were pushed back immediately by the Indian Jets on air patrol.
