Is it really shameful to talk about your pain? As you may or may not know, but most(but not all)get their period. 80% of the women experience period pain at some stage in their lifetime. This happens due to the shedding of the uterus walls. It is natural and a sign that your body is healthy and working how it should be. If periods are a part of biology and science then why do we as women feel weird and embarrassed about their periods?? I mean it becomes so difficult at times to make your loved ones understand that it’s that time of the month again.

I think a lot of embarrassment or discomfort women feel surrounding their period is because society deems it socially unacceptable or taboo to talk about it out loud. Just how it’s not appropriate to say “Vagina” or “Penis” out loud without  a slew of giggles or shocked looks following. Periods, vaginas, penises are all natural: All these are parts of our bodies. They are natural therefore we should feel free to talk about them.

I think lack of ease in talking about periods traces back to body insecurities in general. Body shaming is a huge thing in our culture specifically due to unrealistic ideals of beauty that mass media throws in our faces.

Periods pain is a real pain:

Periods are messy, periods are stingy and they sometimes painful. I go through this pain every month and it feels like someone has injected a sharp knife into the vagina. It feels so embarrassing to explain this pain to everyone. The fact that this monthly occurrence is a little uncomfortable and definitely not glamorous makes people hesitant to speak freely about it, or reveal that they are experiencing it at this exact moment.

We always want to present our best, most perfect self to others all the time, so the fact that something happening inside our bodies isn’t super glamorous deters us from feeling uncomfortable with experiencing it! Why should women should feel awkward if a tampon or pad falls out of their bag in public?. And Why should women secretly bring feminine products to the bathroom so they can change them during the day? Why should women feel uneasy talking about their periods out loud. This answer is we shouldn’t. I’m not saying you need to be freely walking around telling everyone how heavy your flow is this cycle, but don’t feel like you can’t if you want to. Don’t feel embarrassed when it happens, to tell someone that you can’t help it because I’m on my periods. Let people know that it’s natural to have a period pain and you have got the right to take a day rest!

PMS:-

PMS or premenstrual syndrome starts one or two weeks before the actual periods and it’s common symptoms are food cravings, bloating, anxiety, and depression. You lose control over everything.

Health tips:-

Fruit:-

Papayas are often recommended to those who have painful and irregular periods. The papain enzyme helps regulate and ease the flow of blood during menstruation. Papaya also stimulates the production of estrogen, thereby normalizing the period cycle.

Skip Workouts:-

Most women skip workouts when they’re PMSing, and I am sure you do it too! This happens because when you’re PMSing and not feeling your best, your brain and body becomes sluggish. So, either you skip your workout sessions or go about them without putting in real effort. As a result, you gain water weight and start storing fat.

Drink water and stay hydrated:-

It might seem odd that you need to drink more water when you’re feeling the most bloated, puffy, and full but the more water you drink the more easily you will eliminate the water build up in your body. Drink 10-8 ounce glasses of fluids like water, juice or milk throughout the day(not all at once) if you’re on-the-go, be sure to take a water bottle with you. This will help you stay hydrated throughout the busy day.

Eat good food:

Try eating more fresh fruits and green veggies. You should work towards getting at least five portions a day of fruits and vegetables. It can steer you away from the food that can make your period symptoms worse: junk foods, chocolate and salty foods. Better best for snack cravings? Try snacking on carrots with hummus, apples and peanut butter or blend up with a smoothie plus, fruits and veggies contain a lot of water, so you’re filling up on the good stuff and staying hydrated at the same time.

Avoid Caffeine:

Caffeine also makes you retain water and gives you that achy, crampy, bloated feeling. So it’s best to cut it off your diet altogether. Did you know caffeine not just in coffee and tea? It’s also in sodas and chocolates. Good substitutes are ginger, herbal tea, herbal ice tea or just plain water. If you’re craving chocolate just grab a small piece of dark chocolate instead of a big candy bar.

Finally, I’ve found a remedy to ease period cramps:-

I was really keen on sharing this remedy to get rid of the unbearable periods cramps.. I’ve been experiencing this pain since I matured. Periods cramps are as bad as heart attacks. If it doesn’t go away within a day or two then you should definitely consult a doctor as it could become a serious problem in the future. The first two days of periods are terrible for every woman. Some women can bear this pain and some can’t.

For those who can’t bear this pain, I’ve got you an effective remedy which was really been helpful to me to get rid of this unbearable pain. It’s a ‘ice pack’, it comes in handy for pain relief. Just use it as much as you can whenever you can. I suggest everyone to avoid taking any pain killers as they are really harmful to your health. It’s effective at the exact moment but it can be toxic later. From my personal experience, I was hospitalized due to the intake of pain killer. So, use ice packs instead to ease your pain.

For some periods might be gross, but they are natural and not something we should keep to ourselves. Start sharing your personal experiences or tips to make this easy for every woman out there in the world.

Time and again, we humans have killed other humans for various reasons such as religion, land, wealth, and women. There have been times when someone murders a large number of people either during a shootout or with a bomb. However, what we fail to realize is how media represents it. This equation is present in every country on this planet, where people of color and Muslims are labeled as terrorists when they are involved in any such act, and a white person is called a mad-man or mentally disturbed.

We have always been so busy in our lives, and we forgot to ask why? Today, let us find out, who and why?

Terrorist, according to Oxford means a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political, ideological or religious aims. There have been hundreds of debates out there to question what stands for terrorism?

My understanding is straightforward, a terrorist is a person who kills innocents to dictate his ideology to the world. He/She doesn’t need to belong to a religion or a terrorist group. We have seen multiple cases when people start shooting in a crowded place without any logic or reasoning.

We have heard people call followers of Islam by the word “Terrorist.” Terrorist is a word which is used as a common phrase in schools, colleges just because a certain group exists in a war-torn country which reportedly represents all the Muslims of the world.

There has been a far more number of attacks in the US alone which were committed by white men who were shot down before they could represent their ideology. Who is to say, what was their intent? Who is to say what they wanted?

An American Journalist stated facts:

Don Lemon of CNN, stated a few months back, “We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them,” this raised a lot of, and people trolled and criticized him for days.

He continued, “There is no travel ban on them, there is no ban on—you know, they had the Muslim ban. There is no white guy ban.”

There was a statement from FBI and Homeland Security who acknowledged the fact that white supremacist groups have carried out more violent attacks than any other. A suspect list was registered by the U.S. which clears shows white men to be in the highest rather than anyone else.

Terrorist by Race in the US

I am not here to show my support to anyone. Any person that commits an act of violence against humanity is a terrorist that doesn’t mean you get to tag the entire community with a label of terrorist.

True, there have been crimes by some radical Islamic Terrorist who had their links with ISIS or al-Qaeda. However, there have been men who belonged to KKK, if you remember this was the largest white supremacist group that killed hundreds of people of color.

Someone who kills innocents is a Terrorist – Right or Wrong?

There have been cases where an ISIS-inspired man open fired in a gay nightclub in Orlando or the car-ramming attack in Edmonton. However, there are other cases where;

A 64-year-old white man from Nevada opened fire on a crowd of more than 22,000 people at a country music festival in Las Vegas, where he killed more than 50 and wounded more than 800.

A 20-year-old white Nazi sympathizer from Ohio sped his car into a crowd of anti-racist protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia, killing a woman and injuring at least 19 others.

Hindutva activists have carried out several massacres of Muslims, as in Mumbai (then Bombay) in 1992 and Gujarat in 2002, and set off bombs in neighborhoods and towns that are predominantly Muslim, even in their places of worship.

Mob lynching has become a widespread phenomenon in India, which have led to 24 death in just one year.

Funny isn’t it? We have always labeled the Muslim community as terrorists as if they have the copyright for the word “Terrorist.” Are these people not terrorist who kill innocent men, women, and children to ensure that their ideology is followed?

Mr. Anil Ambani who is the Chairman of Reliance Communications Ltd was under a debt of Rs 458.77 crore and was in a race against time as the Supreme Court of India had set a four-week deadline in order to pay off debts. Mr. Mukesh Ambani, his elder brother, came to his rescue and showed the world that blood is indeed thicker than water.

Mukesh Ambani paid a total of 550 crores and interest to telecom equipment maker ‘Ericson.’ Thanking elder brother Mukesh Ambani for “timely support,” Anil Ambani said, “My sincere and heartfelt thanks to my respected elder brother, Mukesh, and Nita, for standing by me during these trying times, and demonstrating the importance of staying true to our strong family values by extending this timely support.”

Anil Ambani was emotional as blood did save him. In one of his statements, Anil said: “My family and I are grateful we have moved beyond the past, and are deeply touched with this gesture.” Also, according to an official spokesperson  for RCom, “the requisite payment of Rs 550 crore and interest thereon to Ericsson has been completed today in compliance with the judgment of the Supreme Court.”

Forty-nine people were brutally murdered by Brenton Harrison Tarrant, an Australian citizen. He has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with two attacks. Two other people were arrested in the immediate aftermath of the shootings.

It wasn’t a random shooting, it was carefully planned and executed. The first shooting took place just after 1:30 PM at Al-Noor Mosque. The terrorist not only planned it executed by streamed it live one social media for about 17 minutes. Which raises a question, why wasn’t that live video reported to the authorities by Facebook?

Right after the livestream, a second attack was initiated at Linwood mosque where at least seven people were killed. The names of other perpetrators have not been released.

A 87 page manifesto was released on twitter and 8chan, before the terrorist attack and it was posted to an account in Tarrant’s name. This raises a question on Twitter, how did this go unnoticed?

A lot of the people who died in the attacks were the breadwinners for their families, said Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

Miss Ardern told the reporters that “The victims were predominantly from the ages of 20 to 60ish — and a large number of men”

She also said a government compensation system would help families of those left without income. In the meantime, mosques would continue to get extra security.

“The commissioner has advised that police security will continue at mosques around New Zealand until it is determined that it is no longer a threat,” she said, as she referred to the country’s police commissioner, Mike Bush.

But the question still raises why is there such a rise in hatred against one religion and why has the media been calling him – a shooter, mad man, attacker. Call him what he is – A terrorist.

Other than that a serious question should be raised on the social media platforms and their authority. When everyone had access then why didn’t anyone of them report to the authorities regarding this terrorist?

And we as humans, have we forgotten what compassion meant to us? Have we actually forgotten what life means?

A foot overbridge collapsed in Mumbai very close to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus railway station on the 14 March. A total of 6 people are reported dead, and 33 are injured. According to reports, the over-bridge was under repair, regardless was still in use. The mishappening took place at 7:30 in the evening at the time when the number of people using the bridge was highest.
According to the railway ministry, the overbridge was under the control of Mumbai’s Civic body ‘Brihanmumbai Corporation.’ The State Minister ‘Vinod Tawde Said that Railways, as well as the civic body, would investigate the matter. The Prime minister of the country also showed grief by saying that “he was deeply anguished by the loss of lives” taking on Twitter.
National Disaster Relief force has come out to help with rescue operations. The spot of the incident is also under the watch of the police department. Initially, NDRF claimed that 10-12 people were trapped under debris. However, Police at a later stage clarified that was not the case.

According to reports by News18, The ED has filed a fresh charge sheet against Nirav Modi, accused for PNB bank scam. Reports suggest that this charge sheet has been fled in Mumbai, under Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

The charge sheet filed is a supplementary charge sheet and investigation agencies have also gathered additional evidences in the case. The exact content of the charge sheet are not revealed yet.

The news surfaced a couple of days after a British daily came out with a report showing that Nirav Modi is living in the UK in a stupendously expensive apartment in London’s West End and also that he is now involved in a new business (related to diamonds).

The Indian agencies like CBI are continuously looking into this matter and investigating the fraud by Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi. According to reports by the Telegraph, Nirav Modi is living a 3BHK flat occupying half of a floor of the landmark Centre Point tower block in London. Reports suggest that the rent for the flat is somewhere around 17000 pounds a month. Agencies have listed Nirav Modi’s assets to be worth Rs 1,873.08 crore under the PMLA and has managed to successfully seize assets worth Rs 489.75 crores.
